The great Migration safari 11days/10nigths

All clients arrive at JRO via KLM. The group will be picked up by a Serengeti Pride
Driver and dropped off at Rivertrees Inn or Dik dik hotel

Meet at the Lodge reception desk at 10:00 AM.
Wear good walking shoes. Also bring water, sunscreen, insect repellant, and a sun
hat. We will visit Mulala Women’s Cooperative on the slopes of Mount Meru, his
will be a great introduction to the local culture. Thereafter you will have a short
guided hike over 6,000 ft.
In the late afternoon/evening, your safari guide will give you a safari briefing and
answer any questions.
Overnight at River trees or Dik dik hotel

Depart to Tangare National Park after breakfast. On your way, you will pass
through Arusha town for a quick tour and last minute shopping for some snacks
and cold drinks.
The drive to Tarangire National park is about 1.5 hours. Your full day game drive
will begin right after you secure the Park’s entry permit.
Tarangire National Park is somewhat like a "mini Serengeti" with open plains,
acacia woodlands, its own mini migration of wildebeest, and often large herds of
elephant. This park has the highest population density of elephants in Tanzania.
There are more than 550 bird species around this park which makes it the best
destination for the bird watcher. In the Evening , drive out of the park to Lake
Manyara Serena lodge which is located on the top of the Great rift valley
escarpment

Depart in the morning for maasai cultural experience around Esilalei Maasai
community. You will visit their homes and participate in cow milking for those who
will be interested. They will talk and share their stories, dancing their traditional
songs. After this breath taking experience, you will start your journey to Naironoka
Noka highlands for hiking to the top of Olmoti crater and enjoy the serenity of the
Ngoro ngoro spectacular land scape. The landscape here is breathtaking; You will
take a short walking around the village to feel and smell the beauty of the wild.
Please pack your comfortable hiking trail shoes/ tennis shoes for this hike, sun
block, sun hat and drinking water. A small day park will make your hike more
comfortable, Altitude at Almoti crater – 3080m ~ 10105ft ASl.
Overnight at Serena Ngoro ngoro

In the morning descend into Ngoro ngoro Crater, an extinct volcano teeming with
wildlife often compared to the Garden of Eden. There are few places that have
wildlife densities and variety on this level. It is not unusual to see the Big Five in
one day as well as Black-backed and golden jackals, spotted hyenas, other big cats,
birds, and much more.
Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena lodge

Depart after breakfast to Serengeti National Park while taking our time enjoying
our game drive en route, through the Southern Serengeti ecosystem.
At Nabi Entry gate, it may take anywhere between 30 minutes to 1.5 hours to get a
permit. All depending on how busy the gate is.
Around the gate, there is a trail loop that will take us to the top of Nabi Hill. Here
we will take in the panoramic views of the Serengeti Plain. Game drive will
continue toward Central Serengeti.
Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge

Start early morning game drive towards Northern Serengeti through Lobo and
Bologonja ecosystem .Bologonja spring is a lush and idyllic sport hidden away into
remote area with many variety of colorful bird’s species. On lucky days, you might
be able to see rhinos cross Bologonja planes. A picnic lunch will be set along the
way.
Overnight at Intimate places luxury camp

After breakfast, we will continue enjoying the scenic drive and head towards Mara
River, where we may experience the breathtaking wildebeest migration crossing
Mara river from Masai Mara game reserve. This is a true definition of the
“Serengeti Shall never die” Please search for this documentary to get the overview
of Northern Serengeti Ecosystem when you have a chance.
Overnight at Intimate places Luxury camp

After breakfast, start your game drive en route towards Central Serengeti-
You will depart with lunch box to take advantage of the full day Game viewing.
Overnight at Dunia luxury camp

Central Serengeti has lots of waterholes and rivers. There is an abundance of
wildlife, including buffalo, giraffe, impala and Grant's gazelle. Lions are common
and often found on a kill. Although leopards are common in the Serengeti, they are
much harder to spot, Leopards like hiding, but you may be lucky and spot one in a
tree.
We will also visit the Seronera visitor center. There is a short trail around the
Kopjes. Kopjes are a distinctive feature in the Serengeti. Hyraxes are often seen
sitting on the displays. We may also see some monkeys, warthogs, Mongoose while
here. Option: Discuss with you guide if you can return to the camp for a hot lunch
today. Then, even game drive will be arranged in late afternoon.
Overnight at Dunia Camp.

Continue with the morning game drive around Serenora river and towards the
Seronera air strip for your one hour long flight back to Arusha. The flight departs at
11am. Serengeti Pride driver guide will meet you at the airport and drive you to
Arusha town. You will have some time to get some last minute souvenirs for friends
and family back home.
Local lunch will be arranged in Arusha town at the living garden restaurant.
Kilimanjaro Airport drop off will be organized in the evening.
